This place has a great vibe (playlist was 10/10, I Shazam’d a few songs for later), and the curry brought me back to life. I got food poisoning yesterday and this was my first solid food and it made me feel like I was being hugged on the inside. Will be back!

One of my favourite meals in Japan. The soup curry was amazing!!! Huge thanks to the owner for chatting with me and my husband and playing some classic city pop music for us. He definitely brought good vibes

Kazu is amazing First we ordered whiskey sour while waiting for our curry soup and keema curry... Before dinner was served, we already finished up the drink! It was so good and smooth. Then we requested something stronger, and he made me hot bloody mary and not sure what my partner had. Both were so good!! Finally before we left, we asked him to fix us something strong to remember our last night in Tokyo there, and he made us espresso martini. The cocktail names may be common, but trust me, he's a man of his craft. Every base he used in our cocktails were infused, like whiskey apple to mellow out the sharp alcohol aftertaste, and bird-eye chilli infused vodka to swap out tabasco sauce. I was tipsy when he served us espresso martini, but I believe the base was coffee infused as it tasted smooth. I would love to come back here and eat again some day!

At first this didn’t look like a place that would serve soup curry , forget about a good one. But I was wrong, as they say don’t judge a book by its cover. The place is entertaining with some good music and seesha on the outside. A good place to hangout. A delicious soup curry slightly spicy but with a tangy taste. A delicious nutritious soup curry is a true delight.

Excellent food at a good price. Has a good drink menu and the walls are plastered with messages from people all over the world and has old hip hop and funk albums ask over the place. If you've never heard Japanese rap, this joint will give you an introductory lesson.

An awesome curry spot in Asakusa that should not be overlooked! I highly recommend getting the soup curry with any extra toppings you like. It is a good portion with a large chicken leg. We met the owner's brother who was working that night and he was incredibly friendly and provided great service! They ferment their own alcohol in big jars which you can see in the kitchen area and he was more than happy to discuss about his process. My personal favorite was the ginger highball and ginger spiced cocktail (essentially his own Moscow Mule). One thing to note is that during the dinner service, the restaurant doubles as a bar so it's required to order a drink along with the food.

Soup curry is definitely a must try! Delicious and satisfying! One of the best dishes I had on my week in Tokyo. Tequila Sunrise is perfectly balanced and well crafted between sweetness and alcohol strength. Kazu is super friendly and he runs a really chill and comfortable atmosphere to whoever walks in.
